End of Summer Update

It's hard to believe Summer is over already but that's the way it goes when you're in a modified year round school system.  Although we only have about 7 weeks of Summer the good news is that we don't see as much of a "summer slump" due to people being on vacation.

§       Corona Kids Camp (our version of VBS) was amazing!  We partnered with Santa Rita Community Church for the third year in a row and had a lot of help from a mission team out of FBC Prescott.  10 kids made decisions to accept Jesus as their Savior!

§       We are collecting school supplies for the middle school we meet at, Corona Foothills MS, so teachers and kids can start the year well equipped.  It's just one of the ways we're fulfilling our mission to Love God and Love People.

§       We've been going through the wisdom of Proverbs in our Summer series "Wise Up".  I've heard some great feedback from people about how helpful it has been. 

PRAYER:

§       Pray that we have success in witnessing.

§       Pray for God to grow the worship attendance at The Foundry. 

§       Ask God to give us success in training and discipling new believers.  Our goal is to become a church where disciples make disciples.

§       As we seek to fulfill our vision of being a church planting church, pray that God would unite us with people called to plant churches and with supporters who believe in church planting.

PRAISES: 

§       Corona de Tucson continues to see signs of growth.  New neighborhoods are going up fast and we’re seeing more and more builders advertise future developments.
